Sino-Foreign Management

Sino-Foreign Management, a monthly management magazine, was founded in 1991 by Prof. Qian San Qiang, one of the most influential scientists in China, and Prof. Yang Pei Ting, a renowned Chinese business management authority who is current president and chief editor of the magazine.

In its 14 years' history, with the mission of "Providing Broad Insight & Cutting-Edge Ideas", Sino-Foreign Management has been serving business executives, university faculties, management scholars, government officials, as well as entrepreneurs with practicality and in-depth research. It is the first journal to introduce Peter Senge's Fifth Discipline and Jim Collins's Good to Great into Mainland China. In June 1999, under the theme "Diagnosis for Chinese enterprises", Sino-Foreign Management successfully organized a summit of four leading international consulting firms: Mckinsey &Co., Boston Consulting Group, Anderson Consulting, and Roland Berger. It is the first summit of this kind, and the only one to date, bringing profound influence to China businesses.

Another remarkable achievement of the magazine, The Seminar on Management: A gathering of officials, Entrepreneurs & Scholars, has celebrated its 14th anniversary in 2005.
